Newtons Laws Broken

Hope for the future is to be found in many places, and they explore them. Who’s in the PFF 90 club? How far did the Dolphins leap up in the power rankings to make it worth talking about again? What did they see in key plays from the game? What analytics charts from the season speak volumes about Tua? This season, we laugh through the new A-Clown segment… who wins hands-down, unanimously, no contest this week? The Giants are coming to Miami minus their starting QB. Should the Dolphins be worried?

Give Thanks to the Pets

The Two Old Dolfans gather on a victory Monday to celebrate a win over the hated Pets. What happened in this game to provide the W? What patterns have become very clear about the Dolphins? What do we celebrate? Who wins the Ass clown award this week? Will we be able to keep winning? The Panthers come to Miami next – will the Dolphins get another W? How? A pleading request to our coaching staff.

Turnover Party

Scott and Alex reunite on a Monday evening to discuss the game with the Texans. Highlights and lowlights. They’ve reached the philosophical “question everything” point with this team. There are a number of good plays to celebrate, and they do so. The overall mood is dominated by the dumpster fire that is our beloved Dolphins – and the numbers are examined to shed the light of truth into the disguise that a win gives the team. Our hosting duo has re-named the new “Circus moment” segment to something more direct and brutal. Same music. Same purpose. Looking to the Thursday game with the Ravens…

Classless Bills

Scott and Alex hit the studio to record their thoughts on the Dolphins latest game against the classless Buffalo Bills. That salt in our many wounds is really irritating. The dumpster fire that is our beloved Dolphins rolls on, as expected. This episode drips with sarcasm – and this year we’ve decided to take the dark humor up a notch. Have a laugh at our newest segment (we’ll tell you the name of it later). Houston is coming to Miami for a game the Dolphins should absolutely, positively, hands-down win. But will they?

FinFans Crossover Special (relevant for all of 2021)

Alex and Scott are back from Miami. It’s been two weeks (two games) since they’ve been able to punch out some time for a podcast – and this one is not even close to typical. Mike and Louis join us from FinFans podcast to do a “state of the union” address with our beloved but heartrending Miami Dolphins. We take an up front “panel” approach to four topics and let the discussions run from there. 1) Watson. 2) Front Office. 3) Coaching. 4) Players…

We Love the Expletive Dolphins

Alex and Scott have more to say, and looking for some positive nuggets after a curb stomping like Tampa gave us isn’t easy, but there are few. There’s no playoffs for this team, but can we find some joy in this season? Tua… that is the question and the answer. Chatter about Chucky and a touch on cancel culture. A special announcement about next week’s podcast. Where Indy was the “elimination game” come and listen to why Jacksonville is another VERY important game that will potentially shape the future of this team.

Poisoned Kool-Aid

The Two Old Dolfans grind on all the issues facing this team. With the Indy “elimination game” results unfavorable, the possible solutions are very thin. Reading between the lines, The finger pointing has begun between coaching and players and the front office. It doesn’t leave us with nothing to discuss, but it’s not an overall happy place to be – so get some tough love, if you love this team.

Where Do We Go From Here

The review of the Dolphins play against the Raiders is fraught with questions about both front office and coaching. Just in case you are wondering, the episode was recorded BEFORE Barry Jackson published his article… The negative is balanced out with kudos and positive things to enjoy. Important statistics are presented for consideration. The Chase vs. Waddle update. Power rankings. Most importantly, what’s next? The Colts are coming to town and we have some good tidings for Dolphins fans…

Problems and Solutions

The Dolphins have issues. What positives can be drawn from the Bills embarrassment? (There are some). Key observations from the game. The Two Old Dolfans have some suggestions for Flores and his staff. Some questions are answered. Can we win the Superbowl with Tua at QB? How do we improve pass protection? Will the Fins flip the script this week?  What short term message do we have for Miami fans?
