Titans, Jets, and Things to Fix

Titans, Jets, and Things to Fix

Alex and Scott are joined by Andy Korge for this episode. In preparation for a future push to bring on more remote guests, we used a new tool for this recording, so please bear with us for some minor audio issues. The Titans loss was a surprise to everyone. Alex made a list of mistakes made in the game, any one of which would have changed the final score. Some are on players, some are on coaches, (and we didn’t address officiating) but all need to be fixed to make this team a contender. There are some players on the roster who could have an impact, but are currently unused. Why? Injuries have hurt the Dolphins, and Grier has work to do to find more contributors and depth. The Jets are coming to town, and suddenly this doesn’t look like the lock it should be. What do these three predict?

AVG Hard Knocks Washington

AVG Hard Knocks Washington

Scott and Alex are back in the Studio on a Victory Thursday this week to record another episode. Why Thursday? Well, on reason was HBO’s Hard Knocks. Both wanted to get caught up and talk about it. A few minutes have passed since the game in Washington DC, but there are some fun things to look back on. AVG, Hill, Tua, Achane… Where are the less obvious points of the Phins dominant performance? It’s December, and our Dolphins are the #1 seed, will they hold? What are they going to do to the Titans this week? Who benefits the most from Hard Knocks? Lot’s of fun in a short episode. Tune in and share!

Jets Stomp and Phillips Loss

Jets Stomp and Phillips Loss

Alex and Scott hit the studio on a Saturday to capture fresh thoughts on the Jets game. Just like the week before, there was a lot to like in the game, and some concerns too. First and foremost, this is a stomping of the hated Jets, so they celebrate that. The loss of Phillips is a sobering elephant in the room. What about Mike McDaniels game plane and play calling this week? What about Tua’s protection of the ball? What about that MetLife field? More thoughts on the rest of the season and the Dolphins journey to the playoffs. There’s an interesting tidbit about our next opponent, the Washington Commanders. How will our Dolphins fare in the nation’s capitol? Join our conversation and listen in to this episode for all this and more.

Ramsey Saves the Day

Ramsey Saves the Day

It’s a victory Tuesday and the two old Dolfans are back in the studio to talk about the latest in Dolphins football. The Raiders game came out a W. What did they like/love from the game? What fills these two long time football guys with hope from this game? Don’t drink the Kool-Aid too hard – there were some detractors that keep surfacing game after game that need to be addressed. Without some in-season improvement, well, our Fins could be a flash in the post-season pan. What are these things? What will the Dolphins do in NY for the first black Friday game in NFL History? We are pretty sure of how it will turn out. Listen in for answers to these questions and more.

Fumble in Frankfurt

Fumble in Frankfurt

Alex returns from Miami to join Scott for our “halfway” podcast. They discuss the Kansas City game. They talk about strategy and coaching. The talk about what’s going to happen in the remaining games of the 2023 season. They look at the Raiders game, and announce an upcoming guest to the podcast who played for the Dolphins!

Tua Wields a Broom

Tua Wields a Broom

It’s post Halloween weekend week, so, the title makes a little sense in a double entendre way. Scott and Jando (Alex is away on a business trip) get together to make this joyous podcast on a “victory Thursday” to talk about the Patriots game and the upcoming Chiefs matchup in Germany. Why does Scott mention Ted Lasso? Who shows class and who doesn’t? What about the trade deadline that just passed? What did the young buck see with his younger eyes in that Pats game? Why is Scott pissed at Twitter / X ? What is the key to the game against the Chiefs (unfortunately no surprises here). Grit your teeth in anticipation for seeing a non-footballer every five minutes. At least an hour of great conversation in this one, don’t miss it!

The Fix is On

The Fix is On

Alex and Scott are in the studio on an angry Monday to talk about the Eagles game. Final score Dolphins 28, Eagles 24 – at least that SHOULD have been the score, if not for the refs, who acted like the mafia paid them off. Listen to our take on this. Instead the Dolphins head home with more injuries, a loss, and a game that fits the narrative of all the national sports media who hate Tua and our team. Some good things worthy of mentioning. Some other reasons, aside from the refs, that the Dolphins lost. There’s a lot to talk about here. Plus, there’s a must win game coming up next week that may not be the easy win we had predicted earlier. Listen in to get our experts opinions on all this and more.

Party and Stomp

Party and Stomp

Alex and Scott and Andy and Jando and Eric and Jeff and MORE partied it up at Hard Rock stadium at an epic tailgate, then headed into the building to watch the Fins stomp on the hapless Panthers. Was it HOT? Were there beverages? Were we worried when the Panthers went up 14-0? What were we able to analyze from our seats. What did the stadium sound like on big plays? Andy joins Alex and Scott in this episode to talk about the game, the weekend, and what’s coming… the road game in Philadelphia.

Six Dolfans Around the Table

Six Dolfans Around the Table

Alex, Scott, Andy, Jando, Eric and Jeff have reunited in Miami to talk about the Giants game, and SEE the Panthers game at Hard Rock. Listen in as the group of long time friends talk highlights, a few mistakes, concerns, injuries and predictions. There’s both wisdom and humor at the table. Has anyone changed their tune after 5 games? What will happen in game six? This one-of-a-kind podcast is worth the listen, tune in!

Take the Punch and Roll

Take the Punch and Roll

Alex and Scott felt the blow Buffalo dealt like any of you, all the way in SoCal. They recorded this episode with a message: It’s not over. This is not the end. Amidst the drubbing, concerns about the play of the offensive line, and defense that had no answers to anything, there are still bright spots. Most of the numbers (except for the scoreboard) tell a different story? A certain linebacker that these two nicknamed after a band, well, how did he do in the loss? Where did the line really fail (you probably all know this) and just how bad was it? Why were there no answers from the mastermind DC? Listen in, there’s good with the bad, and there’s reasonable hope. Especially for the coming games.
