Alex Saenz and Scott Quiggle host this podcast featuring the Miami Dolphins and in doing so share personal stories, recommendations, predictions, game and player analysis and much more. We’re at least as old as the team is, we both over-employ a sarcastic sense of humor, and we both bleed aqua an orange but we don’t drink “Kool-Aid”. Sit back and listen to unbridled opinions , stories, and interesting tidbits your probably haven’t heard. It’s a conversation with wisdom and experience because we’ve pretty much seen it all.

An IMPORTANT Note from Scott: As many of you know, I host this podcast with my good friend, Alex Saenz. Over the years, we’ve shared countless conversations, debates, and laughs, often joined by Alex’s son, Alejandro, who we all affectionately knew as “Alex, Alex Jr, Or the nickname he chose to distinguish himself on the podcast from his dad: “Jando.”

Jando wasn’t just a guest on this podcast; he was a part of its heartbeat. Whether he was calling in with insights, sharing his notes on the latest news, or sitting here in the studio with us, his voice brought an energy and passion that made each episode special. He was smart, funny, kind, and caring—truly one of the best of us. I’ve known Jando for most of his life, and he was more than just Alex’s son to me; he was a friend, a confidant, and a beloved member of our podcast family.

On May 11th, we recorded a two-part episode discussing the 2024 NFL Draft and the Miami Dolphins’ offseason moves. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, I thought we had lost those recordings. But in a fortunate twist, I discovered a backup in early August, and we were excited to release these “lost episodes” alongside a new recording we planned for August 26th.

However, on the morning of August 25th, tragedy struck. Jando, at just 34 years old, with a loving wife and a two-month-old son, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. This devastating loss has deeply affected all of us—his family, his friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

In honor of Jando, we’ve decided to share these lost episodes as a tribute to him. This is the last recording of his voice, and while it’s hard to listen to now, I hope it brings some comfort and joy to those who loved him. Jando’s spirit, his humor, his insights—everything that made him such a remarkable person—will be evident in these episodes.

I invite you all to listen and remember Jando with us. And if you’d like to support his family during this incredibly difficult time, please stay tuned to the end of the podcast for information on a GoFundMe page that has been set up in his honor.

Thank you for being a part of this community and for helping us celebrate the life of a truly wonderful person.

Ross Takes Away Hope for 2025

Ross Takes Away Hope for 2025

Scott and Alex strive to give you an honest evaluation of the Miami Dolphins every week in the regular season, with episodes in the offseason around Free Agency, changes in management, the draft, and training camp – pre season… This episode marks the end of their 7th season of the podcast. With a fair warning, both men are angry. They regularly strive to balance out negativity with positive aspects of the team, even after a loss, but always tell it like they see it. A lifetime of experience and a long familiarity with each other makes them a good listen, usually. Both feel that their favorite team is mis-managed at every level. Their hope was for the owner to realize that as fans, we want a championship, and that the management in place both at the GM position, as well as the head coaching position, lack the skills and experience to achieve that, Our hope was the Ross would realize it, and make changes so that even he may live to see a competitive, winning team. Our GM has made this the oldest team in the league, strapped by financially burdensome contracts to underperforming players, and critical weaknesses at key positions. Why Stephen Ross issued his statement is beyond our understanding, and has taken away the hope of fans who dig deeper, understand football, and truly care about winning. Mr Ross is a brilliant businessman, but every football decision he has ever made since taking ownership of our team has been bad. The sales of season tickets in October ensure that sellouts continue, he he can laugh all the way to the bank. Losing to the Jets adds insult to injury. The behavior of some players elevates our frustration (Hill). Alex and Scott discuss all this, and wether it is worth our time and expense to continue this podcast in 2025.

Alex and Scott are back from Miami. It’s been two weeks (two games) since they’ve been able to punch out some time for a podcast – and this one is not even close to typical.
